Part Three: Cocktail Hour. Many people struggle with trying to complete a look for an event with the dress code “Cocktail.” It can be hard to determine the line between dressing too formal and being too casual. In this instalment I have created two potential cocktail looks for two very different woman. Each look is interchangeable depending on the event itself, but they are a great basis for getting that cocktail outfit started!

For look one I have created a feminine and flirty outfit. The sweet cap sleeve, a-line printed dress from Ted Baker is delicate giving a fun and pretty sense while the bird print is a cheeky bit of fun. Pulling from the colours in the print I have chosen suede royal navy heels from Mi Piaci to add texture and softness to the look while complimenting the overall print. The soft gold hardware of the shoe follows through into the metals of the Mimco accessories which also highlight the blue of the dress’ print. To complete the feminine look I have chosen a oversized bow clutch from The Daily Edited.
Look two is for all the ladies who love to be daring and flaunt their confidence wherever they go. This stunning camisole mini from Sass and Bide does exactly that. The simple shape is stunning on the figure while the black and gold print effortlessly sings in volumes. To let the dress stand out I have chosen simple accessories that compliment. Classic block heels from Tony Bianco, a basic wrap choker from Kookai and a stunning black clutch from Mimco.
