I have always believed you should walk into a job interview believing you already have the role.
Dressing correctly when attending a job interview is just as important as your skills and qualifications. It will set the tone and leave a lasting impression with the interviewer. Dressing appropriately for interviews will show enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism. It will also help you to feel more positive throughout the interview process, helping to give the sense of already being successful in obtaining the role.
There are different options on how to dress based on the type of job you are applying for. I have broken these down into 3 main categories. Retail, Business/Office and Professional. The below images show basic styling ideas to achieve these looks and ensure you are entering a job interview and you career presented in the best way!

Retail: Keep your look semi-casual. Wear black jeans, a crisp white tee and a jacket or blazer with closed tow ballet flats or a brogue. The look shows professionalism while remaining casual and fun.

Business/Office: These looks are slightly more refined, structured and conservative. Both looks are less formal than traditional business wear however still give a professional impression. The look on the right could be worn by employees in a law/accounting firm setting, where the look on the left could be worn in a design firm/retail head office setting.

Professional: Professional attire is the most formal workwear worn in the workplace. In most situations it will include dress pants or skirt, a shirt and blazer or a structured dress with a blazer. Professional clothing would be worn by CEO's, lawyers, real estate agents etc.
